ABOUT US
Reedsburg Area Helping Hands (RAHH) is a not-for-profit organization based in Reedsburg, Wisconsin. RAHH was created in 1997 and incorporated in 1998. The Board of Directors is comprised of the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and two elected positions. Additional positions include: the Program Coordinator(s), Assessment Committee, Outreach Coordinator(s), Publicity Coordinator, Volunteer Coordinator(s), Workplace Coordinator(s), Warehouse Coordinator, Fund Raising Coordinator, as well as community volunteers and businesses.
RAHH’s purpose and mission is to “serve children and families by providing food, clothing, toys and other necessary items”. RAHH serves clients through various programs including the Easter Program, Christmas Program, Milk Money Program and School Start Program. Clients of RAHH must meet certain qualifications. The qualifications are as follows: (1) a family must reside within the Reedsburg School District and the child/children must be enrolled in the Reedsburg School District, (2) a family must meet the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Poverty Guidelines, (3) the age(s) of the child/children must be birth to eighteen years of age, and (4) the parent(s) or guardian(s) requesting RAHH services must be the custodial parent(s) or guardian(s) with primary custody of the child/children.
